CAMP FIRST CATHEDRAL CIRRICULUM

Each week of Camp First Cathedral is devoted to a specific theme and will feature activities geared towards that topic.  Below is a summary of the camp’s six week format.

THEMES: FAITH, FUN & ADVENTURE      

Below is a summary of the camp’s theme-base activities……….

Faith incorporates biblical lessons from the Old and New Testaments, and their relevance to the life of a child – told via video and guest story tellers. Campers will have a chance to explore the meaning of scriptures, through questions and interaction with the facilitator, as well as their own participation in “think-out-loud” group discussions. 

Fun at camp is a “must have”. There are sports, field trips, water activities, parks, museums, and arcades to look forward to. All designed to maximize the enjoyment level of campers. SafetyFirst is our goal, first/last/and always.

Adventure awaits each camper as we explore ●the beauty of nature ●the environment that surrounds us ●where we fit in and ●the science of how it’s all connected. 

Not To Mention Arts, Music, Dance, and YES structured Academics reinforcing the campers knowledge base using the 3R’s Renew/Refresh/Retain.

My child benefited from this camp through increasing their maturity.  My child has character as a result of this camp. I would recommend this camp for any child as you will see a difference being made by the teachers and staff of this camp.  Not only is it a camp that your child will have fun, but its a camp that will cause your child to be a tremendous student and have character day by day.
